  3. Cover your hair with a shower cap and let the mixture sit in your hair for 20 minutes.

  4. Wash it off with cold water.

  • Banana mask

Ingredients:

  1. 2 ripe bananas

  2. 1 tablespoon of olive oil

  3. 1 tablespoon of coconut oil

  4. 1 tablespoon of honey

Procedure:

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl to a smooth consistency.

  2. Apply the mixture to your scalp and hair until you cover everything.

  3. Let it sit for five minutes.

  4. Wash with lukewarm water.

  • Yogurt mask

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup yogurt

  2. 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar

  3. 1 tablespoon of honey

Procedure:

  1. Mix the ingredients in a bowl.

  2. Apply the mixture from the roots to the tips of your hair.

  3. Keep it on for 15 minutes and then wash it off with cold water.

  • Curry leaves and coconut oil mask

Ingredients:

  1. 10–12 fresh curry leaves

  2. 2 tablespoons of coconut oil

Procedure:

  1. Heat the curry leaves in the coconut oil until they pop.

  2. Wait until the oil has come down to a warm temperature. Apply it to your scalp and hair.

  3. Keep it on for 20 minutes and then rinse off with a shampoo.

  • Castor oil mask

Ingredients:

  1. 2 tablespoons of castor oil

  2. 1 egg

Procedure:

  1. Mix all the ingredients,

  2. Massage the mixture onto your scalp and hair.

  3. Let it sit for 30 minutes and then rinse it off with cold water.

With these hair masks here are some regular home practices you can carry out to put hair fall at bay.

  • Hot hair oil massage

Heat some oil preferably coconut oil or almond oil and slowly massage your scalp using your fingertips. It increases the flow of the blood to the hair follicles, enhances the strength of the roots of your hair, and conditions your scalp.

  • Onion juice

Due to its high sulfur content, onion juice helps treat hair loss and enhance the circulation of blood to the hair follicles, revive hair follicles and reduce inflammation.

  • Aloe vera

Aloe vera contains enzymes that directly promote healthy hair growth. Applying aloe vera juice or gel on your scalp along with having one teaspoon of aloe vera on an empty stomach, can induce healthy hair growth. It also removes the dead cells from your scalp that can clog the roots in your hair.

  • Neem leaves

Neem, known for its medicinal properties is an effective herb to treat hair loss. Due to its antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties, neem is an excellent way to curb dandruff. It helps the hair follicles to become stronger and also encourages hair growth. Grind and boil neem leaves to a paste and apply it to your scalp after shampooing your hair. Wash it off after 30 minutes. Repeat the process twice a week.

  • Amla

One of the major reasons for hair loss is the deficiency of Vitamin C and Amla being a rich source of it, there’s no better way to replenish it back in our system. Thus add amla to your diet and see the change.

  • Fenugreek seeds

Soak two tablespoons of protein- and lecithin-rich fenugreek seeds overnight, then grind them into a paste and apply to the scalp. Leave on for 30 minutes before rinsing. They not only help in hair growth but are also great for treating dandruff, too.

To conclude, these home remedies work wonders, and side by side it is also important to add the right nutrition to your diet. With all this being said, make sure you try out the above remedies simultaneously to avoid any reaction. It is also advisable to consult a doctor in the case of extreme hair loss conditions.
