Telangana Drugs Control Administration (DCA) seized quantities of 'Herbal Fever Guard Syrup' from a medical shop in Adilabad for its deceptive therapeutic claims. These kinds of advertisements are objectionable and illegal, and indulgence in their circulation is also penalized.
Manufacturer details
The product was produced and sold in the market by International Herbal Corporation Pvt. Ltd., a company situated in Haridwar, Uttarakhand.
Regulatory action initiated
Stocks of the product were impounded on the spot.
The DCA has initiated further investigation into the distributors and manufacturer involved.
