A medical store in Bulandshahr’s Bugrasi area has been found operating without a valid licence, leading to the seizure of medicines worth ₹15 lakh. Following complaints, a joint inspection was conducted by drug inspectors from Meerut, Hapur, and Bulandshahr under the orders of the Drug Commissioner, Meerut.

Joint Operation by Drug Inspectors
The three-member team included Drug Inspectors Anil Anand (Bulandshahr), Gaurav Lodhi (Meerut), and Hemendra Chaudhary (Hapur).
The team acted on reports of unlicensed sales over the past few days.
Further Investigation Underway
Officials are probing whether other nearby store owners were purchasing medicines from the unlicensed outlet.
Legal proceedings have been initiated against the store operator.

Anil Anand, Drug Inspector, Bulandshahr, said:
“We had been receiving reports about illegal drug sales in Bugrasi. A thorough inspection revealed the store had no licence, and legal action will follow.”The authorities have sealed the premises, and the case is under investigation. Strict legal action is expected against the store owner and associated firms to prevent future violations.
