District officials in Barharia, Siwan district, Bihar, raided a medical shop and confiscated huge stocks of narcotic cough syrups on sale without a license. The raid was carried out on the basis of a public complaint and on the orders of the District Magistrate and 127 bottles of controlled drugs were confiscated and a greater alert in the area was sounded.
