Heart Wise Society distributed over 30,000 survival kits for heart attacks in Kota to save more lives from heart attacks. These kits will provide life-saving treatment instantly during the golden hour, effectively handling symptoms of a heart attack and saving lives.

Launch Event:

• The initiative was launched by District Collector Dr. Ravindra Goswami, DCM President Veenu Mehta, and patron Heart Wise Society, Dr Saket Goyal today Saturday.

• Society is also announcing 'Walk O Run 2025,' an event on 9th February to be claimed India's biggest health event

Survival Kit Components:

• Disprin (Aspirin): Prevents platelet aggregation and blood clotting.

• Atorvastatin: Helps in cholesterol control.

• Sublingual Isosorbide Dinitrate (Isordil): Provides pain relief, provided the patient’s blood pressure is stable.

Importance of Golden Hour:

• Action in the golden hour (first critical hour after a heart attack) is critical for survival.

• Dr. Saket Goyal said that chewing Disprin during a suspected heart attack prevents blood clots and keeps the arteries unobstructed.

Expert Suggestions:

• Dr. Ravindra Goswami, District Collector, said that the kit should be kept in an accessible place in the house for emergencies.

• He said the survival kit at proper time can save one's life.

According to Journal of the American Heart Association, research says that taking Disprin within 4 hours of chest pain can prevent thousands of people from dying.
