1. Raids on Akron Formulations India Pvt. Ltd.

2. Location: Bollaram, Sangareddy district.

Findings:

• Illegal manufacture of drugs, such as Asperflex Cream, Medpura Zinc Oxide Ointment, and Ammonium Lactate Lotions and Creams.

• Manufactured without a valid license under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act.

• Seized Stock: Drugs worth ₹2 crore.

 2.  Spurious Montek-LC Tablets

• Place: Santoshnagar, Malakpet, Hyderabad.

• Spurious drugs were found with forged labels indicating that they were manufactured by Sun Pharma Laboratories Ltd.

• A raid revealed counterfeit batches of Montek-LC Tablets in circulation.

• Confirmation by Sun Pharma highlighted discrepancies when compared to genuine batches.
